Blasphemy Challenge Faceoff
Several months ago, January to be exact, The Rationale Response Squad issued a Blasphemy Challenge where viewers at the ever popular UTube.com are encouraged to upload videos of themselves denying the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy Challenge
The number of views of this one clip is over 390,000 views. The number of videos posted number in the hundreds.
The following is a response by a group at www.soulsaver.de . Here viewers are encouraged to post videos of themselves professing their faith in Christ. The first guy who confesses Christ as his Savior bothers me but those that follow are good. A Blasphemy Challenge Response
If you are interested, ABC’s Nightline is airing a Blasphemy Challenge Faceoff on May 9th at 11:35 with evangelist Ray Comfort squaring off with the two creators of the Blasphemy Challenge.
What do you feel is the proper Christian community response?

Just to let you know, I actually have a blogsite against the blasphemy challenge here:

Hi Frank and welcome. Thanks for link. I stopped in briefly but will take a more thorough look around later. Watched the SpiderMan Politically Correct clip. Hilarious!!
Thanks for the information. I had not heard about this challenge and what was happening, although very little surprises me anymore. I don’t have a good answer to your question about our response. Frank’s site seems to provide some ideas. I am not sure debating with them, or even attempting to dialogue is best though. There was a video from Ryan the youthpastor on YouTube which touched on those that have been hurt by others in the name of God. I like his point that the issue is not with God but with man. I think that is a lot of the problem. We are poor witnesses for the God we love and claim to have as our Lord and Savior. I think the best response I can have is to learn to really live and love by God’s standards. To forgive and not condemn. To support and not abandon. To listen and not judge. To openly discuss how to live better not dictate rules to others. To put God first, others second, and myself at the end of the line. To be willing to live a life that others can examine deeply which will point to God’s existence and not the opposite. I want my friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc. to say they are willing to look at God because of me, not turn away from him because of my poor example. Those are hard, really hard things, but they are the response I want to give.
