Bumps on the Blogging Road
I apologize for the absence from the blogosphere. Blogging is a relative new experience for me. In the past I’ve read and lurked but rarely ever commented. So this past March I took the dive. It stands to reason that bloggers hit this point in the road in which pressing the delete button makes more sense than to continuing the blog.
Years ago I picked up an unwanted friend on the back of my hand. A ganglion cyst to be exact. It did not bother me for a long time. But as time went on it has gotten quite large and hurts from time to time. Actually the cyst itself doesn’t hurt, but it makes a tendon in my hand hurt. It has also become bothersome when typing. So I have a tendency to avoid typing and writing. The cysts are also know as bible bumps. Folks used to take a heavy book, which was often a large family bible and give the thing a good swat. Of course I had to give this a try. The thing actually reduced in size for a while but returned which leaves me at this juncture today. I have been rushing around on weekends to get yard work done before I have this thing taken off in the middle of June. This will assuredly slow down the progress on my already pathetic yard.
More importantly, I had been helping my son purchase a car. That took some doing. If you have attempted to look for used smaller cars recently you know that the supply is pretty slim pickings. I presume that folks are dumping big gas guzzling cars for more economical ones. He is getting ready for graduation from high school. So is the Queen of the castle.
I hope to post here a few more times before 6/15. Not sure how much this procedure will slow me down. So I’ll continue on until led to do otherwise, bumps and all.

Thanks for the update. I’m sorry to hear about the issue, but I am glad to know you have a solution and end in sight. I will be praying for you as you go through the surgery and the recovery. Don’t feel bad about not blogging. I think it is a learning experience for all of us where we learn things about our own processing, vocalizing, thinking, and growth. Sometimes that will be active and sometimes it needs to just have time to settle before something new can come.
